Oyster Karate is a 10-year-old peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Distilled on April 27, 2011, it was matured in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead and bottled at 57.4% ABV. The cask produced 232 bottles. According to the SMWS tasting notes, it offers citrus, peat smoke, sea salt and lemon on the nose, followed by a rich, oily palate with farmyard, brine, malt vinegar, smoked olive oil, bacon fat and umami character.
