Cley Dutch Whisky 58% is a cask strength whisky made at Cley Distillery, a micro-distillery founded in 2015 in Rotterdam, Netherlands by Paul den Dulk and Maria Neves. The whisky is triple distilled in a copper alembic using locally sourced organic grains, and is matured in ex-bourbon barrels with a finish in an Oloroso octave cask. It is bottled at 58% ABV and sold in 50cl bottles.
fairly lightweight, not to say a little underpowered, but really clean again. More citrus fruits, apples and candied ginger. Then apricots, hints of vanilla cake and custard, as well as some light coconut. Caramel flavours and walnuts towards the end.
