Old Ballantruan 10 Year Old is a heavily peated Speyside single malt Scotch whisky produced at Tomintoul Distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland, and bottled by Angus Dundee Distillers. Distilled from heavily peated barley, it is matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks and bottled at 50% ABV without chill filtration or added color. One of the few heavily peated single malts from Speyside, it typically retails for around $78.

- Earthy peat and licorice, as well as charcoal and smoked, sweet barley husks. Touches of menthol cigarettes and baking spices as well. A whisper of iodine even.
