Penelope Riviera is an American whiskey produced by Ross & Squibb Distillery (MGP) in Indiana and released as part of Penelope Bourbon's Cooper Series. It blends 8-year American light whiskey and straight bourbon, finished in rosé wine casks sourced from Spain, using a 4-grain mashbill of 74% corn, 16% wheat, 7% rye and 3% malted barley. It is bottled non-chill filtered at 47% ABV (94 proof) with a suggested retail price of $79.99.
Breaking from the norm, Penelope Riviera is the first whiskey in the Cooper Series to blend light whiskey and bourbon together before utilizing a rarely seen rosé cask finish.
