Skorpios 1618 Tequila Blanco Tahona is a Mexican tequila produced in Amatitán, Jalisco using traditional tahona stone crushing methods. The tequila is made from single estate agaves aged 7-10 years, cooked in brick ovens and fermented in open air before double distillation in copper pots. It's bottled at 42% ABV and sells for around $105.
The flavor skews distinctly herbal, with sage, mint and fresh tarragon that fade into mild coconut and vanilla sweetness accented with white pepper sparks.
