Tequilera TAP
Dos Hombres

In April 2026, "Breaking Bad" alum Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul made the jump from mezcal to tequila with the debut of Dos Hombres Blanco. Distilled at Tequilera TAP (the facility behind Cazcanes, Tres Agaves and Matthew McConaughey's Pantalones Tequila, among others), the spirit is built on a combination of old-school and modern techniques. This is an 100% Blue Weber agave tequila cooked in a combination of autoclave and traditional brick ovens, crushed via roller miller, open-air fermented with wild yeast and distilled in both copper and stainless steel stills. The tequila is slated to launch nationwide on May 1 at a suggested retail price of $39.99.

Bright, citrusy and floral, with top notes of orange peel, lemon and marigold flowers.
There's plenty more citrus to be found on the palate, alongside a pleasant hit of agave and a twang of grassiness. Hints of jasmine, dried pineapple and dew.
Medium-length finish that veers herbal with spearmint and white pepper. It's got some of that signature Tequilera TAP minerality as well — for the sake of the citrus theme, let's call it limestone!
It doesn't get much better than this for a $40 tequila. Though it doesn't hit you over the head with complexity, the flavors that are there are springy, well-defined and totally lacking in suspicious additive sweetness. It's clear that the "Breaking Bad" boys did their research!
