  • The palate is quite wine-forward and very sweet — Stirsman is totally correct about its finishing capabilities — showing a mix of raisiny Port and nuttier, more citrusy sherry notes, both of which dominate the tasting experience from the start.

  • High malty, port driven notes are mouthwatering on the nose. On the palate entry the port essence continues with a heavy patina of flavor taking the lead role. The wheated whiskey plays more of a supporting role with it’s softness.
