It’s a tasty, simple, sherried highland single malt that comes together nicely and I’m really glad I picked it up. A good straightforward daily drinker.

House Review
Nose:
Grapes, sherry and sweet icing sweetness. Some vanilla and spice.
Taste:
Caramel, red fruit. Mostly plumb and grape but there's almost some dark chocolate raspberry in there as well. Some leather, allspice and dark chocolate.
Finish:
Short but simple. Its not trying to be something its not. chocolate, some spice and lots of fruity sherry sweet. I like it.
Overall:
It's no GlenDronach 12, but it doesn't have to be. Its a delicious introduction to the Glenfarclas line all the same.
