  • A distinctive bourbon that balances orchard fruit with spice and some interesting bitter notes. It’s not a mind-blowing or outstanding bourbon, but it’s a good and interesting one, which is more than you can say for many.

  • Nose:

The nose is quite honeyed and sweet. Somewhere between Honey Nut Cheerios and praline, plus some pear and shortbread, salted caramel, raspberries, gingerbread and leather

  • Taste:

Decent bit of heat here. The palate is moderate in viscosity and lightly oaky. Leather, Melted butter, golden delicious apples, caramel

  • Finish:

Leather and olive oil Lead a long finish, flowing into brown sugar, cinnamon, sassafras, tobacco and tannin, crème brûlée, red apple peel, cracked peeper

  • Overall:

A distinctive bourbon that balances orchard fruit with spice and some interesting bitter notes. It’s not a mind-blowing or outstanding bourbon, but it’s a good and interesting one, which is more than you can say for many.
