Blackadder Raw Cask is a series of single-cask whiskies bottled by the Scottish independent bottler. All Blackadder releases are single cask, with most bottled at cask strength. The flagship Raw Cask line features “complete cask” whisky bottled with natural cask sediment intact. Introduced in 2000, the series is drawn directly from the cask without mechanical filtration, retaining natural oils, fatty acids and fine char particles typically removed.
Distilled at Blair Athol Distillery in 2009 and bottled at cask strength, this peated single malt boasts hints of chocolate-covered cherry and campfire smoke, plus hints of orange and lemon peel. It finishes with peppery tingle and a lightly smoky finish.
