Flóki Single Malt Whisky debuted in November 2017 as the first Icelandic single malt whisky. Produced from 100% locally farmed Icelandic barley, it is released as a single-barrel expression aged three years in ex-Flóki Young Malt barrels. Bottled at cask strength, it typically carries a strength around the mid-40% ABV range depending on the barrel. Per the brand, it shows notes of linseed, olive oil, almond and green tea, with a hint of jasmine on the finish.
Sweet herbs and honey on the nose, the palate is balanced with earthy warmth and nutty richness, and the finish is creamy with vanilla and walnut undertones.
