Lark Single Malt Cask Strength is a Tasmanian whisky produced at Lark Distillery in the Coal River Valley. It ages in quarter cask oak barrels previously used for Australian-style port and bottles at cask strength of 58% ABV. Retail pricing typically ranges from AUD $250 to $260.
It’s still got spunk, though, with those nut and citrus notes coming on in the finish, but it ultimately feels a bit more simplistic as a spirit than the more nuanced Distiller’s Strength.
