Kanosuke Single Malt Japanese Whisky is made at Kanosuke Distillery in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, using three different copper pot stills with unique neck shapes and lyne arm angles. The whisky is aged in a combination of re-charred American oak casks that previously held Mellowed Kozuru rice shochu, ex-bourbon barrels and sherry casks. It is bottled at 48% ABV and sells for around $100.
