Released in November 2025 alongside a bourbon and wheated bourbon, this bourbon is a member of Heaven Hill's Grain to Glass Specialty Barrel Series. All three 2025 releases are fully aged in Chinquapin oak, a species native to eastern and central North America. This whiskey is distilled from a mashbill of 63% rye, 24% corn and 13% malted barley; aged seven years; and bottled at 107 proof. The 2025 Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Specialty Barrel Series is an allocated release available nationally beginning in November 2025 in limited quantities. Each has a suggested retail price of $129.99 per 700-milliliter bottle.

The nose is full of mint, dill and pepper, as well as some lemon peel, coconut and a touch of French cruller.
Moderate viscosity. Quite a nice flavor profile — really well balanced palate here. Lemon oil, black pepper, dill, mint, tea, toasted oak, vanilla.
The chinquapin influence is at its most prevalent on the finish, joined by buttered toast, oak, nutmeg.
A nice, distinctive rye whiskey that's probably my favorite whiskey of the 2025 Heaven Hill Grain To Glass collection. It has the most impressive mouthfeel of the three, and the distillate works very well with the chinquapin oak.
