  • Nose:

Lovely and rich nose. Beautiful salted caramel and toffee mingle well with bright sherry notes, primarily raspberry.

  • Taste:

Dark chocolate, espresso and salted caramel build a nice dark, desserty profile that is accented beautifully by a big, jammy raspberry note, plus blackberry and tannin.

  • Finish:

Nice, buttery finish. Cracked pepper, plenty of sherry character here, cinnamon, chocolate chip sea salt cookies.

  • Overall:

A lovely, full and rich scotch. This is beautiful, easy-drinking stuff. A great whisky at an affordable price.

  • Score:

    91
