Duncan Taylor 18-Year-Old Blended Scotch Whisky is a 750 mL Scotch from Scotland, blended from whiskies aged 18 to 35 years from multiple distilleries, matured in sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV.
Look for a drying, spiced palate that sizzles with red-hot cinnamon candy sweet heat mingled with apricot leather and baked apple, smoothed by honey and vanilla on the exit.
Caramels drift past on a river of spice, wreathed in a fine layer of smoke, then oak, mixed nuts, and cracker bread. The fruity sweetness is momentary and fleeting, leaving the front of the mouth loaded with spice.
