George Dickel Collaboration Blend Leopold Bros Three Chamber was produced through a partnership between George Dickel and Leopold Bros. It combines George Dickel’s column-still rye from Cascade Hollow Distillery with Leopold Bros’ Three Chamber Rye. Bottled at 50% ABV, it uses mash bills of 80% Abruzzi rye and 20% floor malt from Leopold Bros and an undisclosed mash bill from George Dickel. The whiskey comes in a 750 ml format and hosts a suggested retail price of $103.

I am a fan. The burn is a bit more intense than I would like. I enjoyed the sweet and savory profile here, it makes for a good drink. This is a fun one to pull off the bar cart for your friends who like rye.
I do feel like I got more depth and more character overall out of the previous year’s release, but the George Dickel x Leopold Bros Rye – 2022 Release is still far from a shabby whiskey. It’s one I’d happily mix or sip any night after work.
The finish brings all three of those threads together for the first time, running them out in a long, lingering experience. Each step of this whiskey is as lovely as it is nuanced.
