Glenmorangie Allta is a single malt Scotch whisky from Scotland, bottled in a 750 ml format. It is aged in bourbon barrels, including second-fill casks.
In the end, I found the big yeasty notes to be slightly off-putting. That being said, it is not a bad whiskey at all. I still enjoyed it for what it was, I just wouldn’t buy it for my personal collection.
Complex fruit for days. This is a tasty and inviting whisky to share with friends and have a conversation around. The way the fruit, candy sweetness and increasing spice notes mix together is wonderful.
