  • Nose:

    Sweet honey, sticky toffee and coffee cake. Brown sugar, maple candies. Musty sweetness. Some fruits, but not overbearing.

  • Taste:

    Medium mouth feel. Mild heat. Some peat here, earthy, mineral smoke. Rich stewed fruits. Oak, pepper, ashy smoke. Jammy. Sweet, some pepper.

  • Finish:

    Long, rich and sweet. Stewed fruits, honey and coffee cake blends well with an earthy, mineral smoke.

  • Overall:

    Delightful and complex, this entry from Longrow was really a treat. Longrow spirit takes so well to wine finishes, even the younger expressions
