Produced in Speyside, Scotland, Benriach The Twenty Five Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky undergoes four cask maturation in sherry, bourbon, virgin oak and Madeira wine casks for 25 years. This whisky is bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml format.
BenRiach 25 Years is an intensely fruity whisky that starts fresh and becomes more dry as it opens pulling out more malty, nutty, rustic and darkly sweet notes. I’m digging it.
It’s strong enough to serve as a digestif, while still smooth and sweet enough to work as a dessert whisky. Pick up a bottle and start serving it after your meals.
Oily citrus, dried apricot and fig, milk chocolate, and candied ginger on the palate, with drying smoke and char. It finishes with cocoa powder, char, and well-woven spice and dried fruit.
