This is the kind of heavily sherried daily drinker I’ve been looking for. It’s not a crazy sherry bomb, but instead holds a nice balance of sweet and spicy notes with earthier malt and nut notes. It’s a seriously wonderful thing.
I liked the light, but complex flavor of Tamdhu 10 year, and I think this is a good starter whiskey for those who doesn’t know a lot about Scotch. However, I think it’s also good enough for those who consider themselves Scotch experts.
