Blue Star Tequila Añejo is bottled at 40% ABV and produced at Casa Tequilera Alma de México in the Los Altos region of southern Jalisco, Mexico. It is made from 100% blue weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley. The agave is cooked in autoclaves, extracted with a roller mill and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Distillation takes place twice in stainless steel pot stills before aging in American white oak barrels.
