Corzo Tequila Añejo is produced at Bacardi y Compañia in the southern Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. The tequila is distilled three times in stainless steel pot stills with copper coils, aged in French oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV.

  • Corzo Anejo is a fine tequila. It has a wonderful nuanced flavour with fruity agave accented by oak and oak spice. It is tempting to score the spirit higher, especially as it is so easy to sip and enjoy. However, as I sipped I was thinking to myself, that I wished the agave was just a little more upfront.

  • The palate showcases cooked agave, minerality and cooked vegetal components leading to soft dried apricot. The finish is full of over-ripe starfruit.
