  • Would highly recommend to add a splash of water or serve on the rocks to allow some of those sweeter notes to shine

  • Nose:

Rich caramel. Very sweet and inviting on the nose with a hint of butterscotch and lots of cherry candy

  • Taste:

This bourbon is so inviting and has such a wonderful mouthfeel. Lots of caramel, toasted marshmallow and cherry on the palate.

  • Finish:

The finish is what really sets this whiskey apart from others. The sweet, oaky flavors from its eight years in a barrel really shine through here.

  • Overall:

Jefferson’s new 8-year, 130-proof cask-strength bourbon is hands down one of the BEST bourbons in its category on the market. When comparing to other bottles of similar price, proof and age, this has been crushing the competition for me, especially in blind tastings. I am very impressed with what Jefferson’s has done with this release! Cheers.
