Isle of Raasay Hebridean Single Malt Scotch Whisky Dun Cana is a whisky from Raasay, Scotland. It features both peated and unpeated spirit and is matured first in American rye casks, then in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks. It's bottled at 52% ABV in a 700ml format. The name Dùn Cana comes from a volcanic plateau on the island.
There’s plenty of intensity between the fruit and the smoke. Lots of cooked fruits on the palate, with cherry, plum, leather, red pear, clove, and black pepper showing just how powerful those sherry quarter casks can be.
