Michael Jordan’s Cincoro Tequila Unveils $650 Graphic Art-Inspired Limited Release

Michael Jordan’s Cincoro Tequila is teaming up with visual artist Joshua Vides for a monochromatic limited-edition drop.
The new design, which — in the absolute best way possible — looks like it was scribbled into the pages of a comic book, reimagines the tall-and-stout Cincoro decanter with black and white Ben-Day dots popularized by the likes of Roy Lichenstein.
Just 150 bottles of the añejo tequila will be unveiled at Miami Art Basel come December, priced at $649.99 each. A frequent contributor to The Museum of Contemporary Art, Vides has previously collaborated with brands like New Balance, Nascar, PUMA and Converse on similarly styled releases.

Cincoro Tequila was founded back in 2019 by an unlikely group of basketball rivals turned allies; NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeannie Buss, and Wyc Grousbeck and Emilia Fazzalari of the Boston Celtics.
Since its founding, Cincoro has differentiated itself from the crowd of celebrity-owned tequilas with slender, eye-catching bottles and occasionally mind-boggling price tags. While its Blanco sells for $72, its Extra Añejo runs the gamut up to $1,599.
