Booker’s “Barry’s Batch,” the first Booker's release of 2025, honors former Beam Chairman and CEO Barry Berish, who spent over 40 years at Beam and played a key role in the company's history. Aged 7 years, 2 months and 4 days, it is bottled at 125.7 proof. The batch consists of barrels from four production dates, aged across five warehouses: 41% from the 5th floor of warehouse 3, 32% from the 5th floor of warehouse X, 14% from the 5th floor of warehouse 1, 9% from the 4th floor of warehouse G and 4% from the 7th floor of warehouse H. It hosts a suggested retail price of $99.99 per 750-milliliter bottle.

  • Nose:

    Beautiful, sweet nose with layers of butterscotch, French vanilla, caramel, waffle cone, peanut brittle, some gentle heat, creamed corn, cherry ice cream, sarsaparilla.

  • Taste:

    Oily mouthfeel with plenty of heat. The flavor profile leans dark and sweet: Big Luxardo cherry note is joined by blackberry, grapefruit peel, fudge, coffee grounds, peanut brittle, tobacco, cornbread, barrel char, tannin and root beer.

  • Finish:

    Medium to long finish with some heat. Tobacco, fatty walnuts, cracked pepper, ash, plum, black cherry

  • Overall:

    Lovely, dark, bruising bourbon. Classic Beam profile dialed up to 11, joined by some bright fruity notes. Good batch, Booker's!
