Pura Vida XA Extra Añejo is a Costa Rican rum produced at Taboga Distillery and bottled by French company Les Bienheureux. It blends rum made from pure cane juice, cane honey and molasses, distilled in small batches and aged first in bourbon barrels in Costa Rica before being finished in ex-Cognac casks in France’s Charente region. Bottled at 40% ABV, it typically retails for around $40.
