The 2026 Old Forester Tribute Series is a new annual, age-stated release from Brown-Forman’s Old Forester. The inaugural edition is a 12-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 115 proof (57.5% ABV). It is blended from the brand’s "highest age-stated stock" rather than single-barrel or single-lot selections, with future releases to be bottled between 110 and 125 proof. The bourbon comes in a collectible decanter inspired by Old Forester’s 1950s and ’60s holiday decanters, with vertical facets, metallic accents and an engraved metallic stopper. It is available beginning Oct. 15 in limited quantities at select retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $299.99.

  • Nose:

Lovely nose. A deep cocoa note is surrounded by toasted oak, crème brûlée, red apple and cinnamon.

  • Taste:

Excellent palate with a fantastic mix of oak, cocoa, espresso, almond, custard and bright fruits: cherry, apricot, apple.

  • Finish:

The finish is dry and satisfying, leading with toasted oak and tannin, which smoothly transitions into dark chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  • Overall:

A spectacular bourbon from Old Forester. It isn't the most complex bourbon ever, but it has a beautiful, cohesive flavor profile. It’s oaky but not over-oaked. This is a beautiful release that's perfect for any lover of classic, rich Kentucky bourbon.
