Nocheluna Sotol is made from wild-grown sotol harvested in Chihuahua, Mexico. The plant is cooked, crushed and then fermented in open-air wooden vats before being distilled in a copper still. Nocheluna is a traditional sotol from Chihuahua, Mexico, produced by fourth-generation Maestro Vinatero Don Eduardo Arrieta and endorsed by American singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz.
Use this as a mezcal substitute — not a tequila stand-in — in whatever cocktail you’ve got brewing up. Of course, it’s also worth savoring straight.
