Distilled twice on copper, this Bicuixe from Jorge Vasquez Aquino is produced in Miahuatlan for NETA and the Agave Mixtape project. I've been on quite the streak with Karwinskii lately, so I'm thrilled to have purchased this to review today.

House Review
Nose:
Fragrant, phenolic, fun. Scallion, cream, salinity and a hint of smoke. Bright, fresh, intriguing.
Taste:
Creamy on the palate, buttery texture that leans into slate, bell pepper, jalapeño and a load of creamy frosting.
Finish:
Long finish. Ash at first before big cream sweetness, jalapeño, slate, a touch of scallion and mango pop in. Fruity, sweet, rich, terroir driven. Lovely.
Overall:
I love this. Really great expression of a wild agave, and delivers a wild profile.
Score:
88
