Distilled by Ramon Garcia Sanchez & Willy Garcia Sanchez in Miahuatlan, this ensamble features Espadin and Jabali. Distilled twice on copper and bottled at 48.10% ABV, this is Lot RWPENS001.
I really like this ensamble. I feel like we don’t always see Jabali paired up with Espadin but this field blend is fun, fruity, and insightful. Great stuff.

House Review
Nose:
Bright, fruity and crips. Fuji apple, cream sweetness, pepper, pear and some light earthy funkiness
Taste:
Sweet and creamy on the palate, this Miahuatlan ensemble has some fun fruity pop. Pears, melon, papaya, pepper, some salinity. Lovely complexity, really unique.
Finish:
Long finish. Grows a bit ashier here, some salinity and pepper, some minerality. That fruity pop hasn’t gone away, but finds some contention in those more savory notes.
Overall:
I really like this ensamble. I feel like we don’t always see Jabali paired up with Espadin but this field blend is fun, fruity, and insightful. Great stuff.
