MOTH, which stands for “Mix of Total Happiness,” is a U.K.-based ready-to-drink cocktail brand focused on bar-strength, premixed classics made with real spirits. Its Margarita combines tequila from Enemigo tequila, triple sec, lime and salt.
Packaged in 200 ml cans at 14.9% ABV, It typically retails in four-packs priced at about $19.99.
The bright lime-peel fragrance leads into a juicy, not-too-sweet palate that reads like limeade, with almost no perception of tequila in the mix. Made with Enemigo tequila, triple sec and lime.
A lot of ice helps it settle down, but this comes at the expense of the rest of the cocktail, which isn’t particularly powerful when it comes to the tequila component, especially. I drank most of the can, but it hit me closer to a stout glass of Sprite than I’d have liked.
Moth Margarita is a solid, well-balanced take on the classic, offering a lighter profile while keeping the tequila present. The restrained sweetness and clean citrus structure make it easy to drink, though the relatively simple progression and quick finish keep it from reaching greater depth.

House Review
Nose:
Subtle yet defined, opening with earthy agave at the core, supported by fresh lime zest and a light citrus brightness.
Taste:
Light in profile but still tequila-forward, with the agave clearly present. The sweetness is restrained, allowing the citrus to carry balance, while lime and triple sec deliver a clean, measured zing
Finish:
A slight bitterness emerges on the finish, which fades quickly without adding much to the overall profile.
Overall:
Moth Margarita is a solid, well-balanced take on the classic, offering a lighter profile while keeping the tequila present. The restrained sweetness and clean citrus structure make it easy to drink, though the relatively simple progression and quick finish keep it from reaching greater depth.
