  • Nose:

Powdered lemonade mix, lemon sports drink and lemon oil on the nose. A faint waft of citrusy fermented grain is present, too, creating the initial of impression of a ready-to-drink vodka cocktail.

  • Taste:

The lemon tang unfolds on the palate. What feels restrained on the nose opens into a bold, tart lemon juice bite with fairground lemonade through the midpalate. Honeyed sweetness follows alongside lemongrass and a gentle, almost unnoticeable carbonation.

  • Finish:

The finish is short, delivering sour-sweet Lemonhead candy notes that invite another sip.

  • Overall:

I’d love a touch more complexity to push it over the edge, but as it stands, it’s a zippy, drinkable mocktail that lands somewhere between a lemonade and seltzer. This one is best served well chilled straight from the can, as ice dilutes its delicious citrus bite too much.
