Maker's Mark Private Selection is a single-barrel bourbon made at the Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky. It starts as fully matured cask strength Maker's Mark, to which retailers add 10 custom finishing staves chosen from five wood profiles to create a unique flavor for their store. This particular barrel was bottled at 55.6% ABV after finishing with a combination that included Maker's 46, Roasted French Mocha and Toasted French Spice staves, and sells for around $80.
