Langley’s Old Tom Gin is an English gin distilled at Langley Distillery (Alcohols Limited) in Oldbury, near Birmingham, and owned by Charter Brands Ltd. Based on an 1891 recipe, it uses eight botanicals, including juniper, fennel, nutmeg, lemon peel, tangerine and coriander, with mild sweetness added. The standard bottling is 40% ABV and typically retails for around $36, while an export-strength version is bottled at 47% ABV.

  • Off-white in colour, this Old Tom is pure, precise, and juniper-forward, with plenty of pine undertones present. Quite oily, intense, and bitter.
