La Venenosa Raicilla is a collection of traditional agave spirits from Jalisco, Mexico, created by Chef Esteban Morales and produced by Maestro Taberneros across the state's coastal and mountain regions. Each expression showcases a different agave species, including Maximiliana, Rhodacantha, Inaequidens and Angustifolia, and is made using traditional methods such as wood-fired adobe or earthen pit ovens, wild yeast fermentation and clay, wood or Filipino-style stills. Depending on the expression, bottling strengths generally range from about 41.5% to 47.7% ABV, with retail prices typically between $79 and $170.
