La Venenosa Raicilla Costa de Jalisco is a raicilla produced by Maestro Tabernero Don Alberto Hernández in the village of Llano Grande in the Cabo Corrientes region of Jalisco, Mexico. Depending on the batch, it is made from either 100% Agave rhodacantha (Mexicano) or an ensamble of Amarillo and Chicho Aguilar agaves, roasted in a wood-fired adobe oven and double distilled in a traditional Filipino-style still made from copper and a hollowed-out higuera blanca tree trunk. Bottled at approximately 46.3% ABV, depending on the batch, it typically retails for $97 to $105 per 750 mL bottle.
