La Pulga Mezcal Artesanal is a joven mezcal produced at the Ipiña distillery in Ahualulco, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, using 100% wild-harvested Salmiana agave. The agave piñas are roasted in traditional masonry hornos, crushed with a tahona wheel, fermented in stainless steel tanks and distilled in copper pot stills. It is bottled unaged at 40% ABV with an SRP of $64.99 per 750ml.

- The smokey roast character is subdued, while still lending a more traditional flavor profile. While the notes of Poblano pepper, and an intriguing salinity are unique and add a savory quality.
