  • This is tremendous bourbon. Picture a cup of bittersweet hot cocoa with marshmallows and some cinnamon sprinkled on top. It’s got that trademark Heaven Hill soft sweetness, balanced out by an amount of oak that to my palate is just about right.

Thick viscosity. Very oaky on the palate, but not quite over-oaked. Marshmallow, candied orange peel, Dark Chocolate-covered walnuts, barrel char, stewed cherries and raisins, cinnamon, tobacco.

Tobacco, loads of leather, espresso and cocoa powder on a dry, oaky finish, plus a bit of cinnamon and clove.
