This is a field blend bottling of Espadin and Tepeztate, distilled by Anastacio Cruz Antonio in San Dionisio Ocotepec. This recently made quite a stir for the bonkers reasonably sticker price it released at in TX. Let's see how it is.
Medium mouth feel. Immediately hit with clay, bubble gum, faint cotton candy and then come confectioners sugar. Burnt sugar, pine, some pepper take over.
Finish:
Short to medium in length but crisp and loaded with wood smoke and minerality.
Overall:
Diverse, unique and fun. Count me in.
