Braud & Quennesson Rhum Blanc Agricole 59.2% is an unaged white rhum agricole from Martinique, produced at the Distillerie du Simon and bottled by S.A. Usine du Marin under the Braud & Quennesson label. The brand was relaunched in late 2022 at Habitation Grand Fonds in Le Marin, the southernmost growing area in Martinique, where canes benefit from intense sun and low rainfall. Distilled from fresh sugarcane juice through a Creole column still and limited to 3,000 bottles, it is bottled at 59.2% ABV and sells for around 59 euros.

  • nce again, my impression is ‘muted’, now even more so than in the nose. Where are all those lovely floral notes we have found before? At this point it feels like a completely different distillate.
