This is phenomenal whiskey. Beautiful, layered, nuanced and delicious. Each cask finish plays a role, and they all come together for a cohesive, delicious expression One of the best whiskey releases of 2026 so far.
Lovely viscosity. Biggest influences I notice here are rum and Armagnac. Notes of Luxardo cherry, plum and tobacco are joined by drying tannin, leather, raisin, caramel, cinnamon, anise and pepper.
Finish:
The finish leans heavier on spice. Tobacco meets clove, cinnamon and black pepper.
