House Review
Nose:
Fresh and fruit on the nose, bright fruits combine with maple and a touch of vanilla. Mango, papaya, banana and a hint of kiwi. Well balanced funk.
Taste:
Thin on the palate but pleasant. Honey, light oak, toffee, apple butter, kiwi, mango and banana pop once more.
Finish:
Short to medium finish, plenty of character but a bit thin and shortlived.
Overall:
This is a great introduction to Jamaican rum and all things Appleton. It could really benefit from some proof points, but it’s a simple, straightforward sipper.
