  • Nose:

    Sweet with lemon, honey, pepper, lemongrass and some olive. Nice salinity and minerality.

  • Taste:

    Medium mouth feel with lots of lemon, pepper, smoke and minerality. Honey, faint brine, light chemical smoke to it. Really crisp minerality here, bringing a lot of flavor.

  • Finish:

    Long and unbudging. Smoky and mineral forward with fresh cut grass, pepper, a faint paper note.

  • Overall:

    This is interesting - a smoky, mineral forward Tobala that engages the savory side of things without going overboard. Impressive distillate for sure.
