Schramm Vodka is produced at Pemberton Distillery in British Columbia, Canada, using local organic potatoes from the nearby Pemberton Valley. It is charcoal filtered and blended with water from the Coast Mountains.
When I threw the bottle into my freezer and sampled it at about 1 degree Celsius, that strong potato flavour was still there, and the vodka was now much smoother and creamier. However it did not carry the complexity I had encountered at the warmer temperature. I was unsure which experience I liked better.
