Etsu Japanese Gin is produced at the Asahikawa Distillery in Hokkaido, Japan. It is made from a cane spirit base and distilled in a copper pot still. The gin contains at least eight botanicals, including juniper, yuzu, green bitter orange peel, coriander, licorice, green tea leaf, angelica root, sansho pepper and cherry blossoms.

  • If you don’t like juniper forward gins, you’ll really like the unique aspects of this one. I find it one of the better Japanese entries to the modern gin market.
