House Review
Nose:
Extremely complex - lots going on here. Bright cream sweetness, paint, varnish, some savory earthy notes, salinity and a hint of garlic. Interesting.
Taste:
Rich and viscous on the palate. Tons of sweet cream, honey, rock candy. Pairs nicely with pepper, a rising bread note, clay, salinity and some minerality. Super savory.
Finish:
Long finish, quite a bit of ash, smoke, salinity, cedar and an interesting earthiness. The sweetness is fading a bit, a hint of that paint note remaining.
Overall:
Reminds me of Campero's Sierra Negra I love - there's such a combination of sweetness, fun acrid notes, smoke and a long savory finish. Love it.
