The Naturalist is a modern gin crafted from a Brasetto rye and white corn base, which is produced entirely from scratch at the Still Austin Distillery. The gin features three types of citrus, orris root, two types of cinnamon, allspice and elderflower. Let's dive in!
The gin is a gentle expression, fresh and fairly traditional, sticking fairly closely to the London Dry style on the whole, despite a few small twists.

House Review
Nose:
Bold and vibrant, tons of botanical notes interact with a pleasant fruit character as well. Juniper, pine, spruce, lemon, orange, lavender, a touch of lime and honey.
Taste:
Lovely on the palate, it’s a touch hot at first but opens up nicely. Plentiful juniper and ginger pair wonderfully with orange and lime zest and a touch of minerality.
Finish:
Long finish, delightfully fruity first, ending pleasantly with slate and juniper.
Overall:
Is there nothing Still Austin can’t do? Wonderful gin here.
