Barr Hill Tom Cat Reserve Gin is a barrel-aged expression of Barr Hill Gin, distilled with juniper and raw Vermont honey, then matured for three to four months in new American oak casks. Bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV), it typically retails for around $50 per 750 ml.

  • An oaky flavor is present, but not overwhelming. Though it would likely overwhelm some classic gin cocktails, it will do well as a substitute for whiskey in an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
